worsted weight yarn

pattern:

ch 6, join w/ sl st to form ring
Rnd 1: sl st in ring, ch 3, 15 dc in ring, join w/ sl st to 3rd beg ch
Rnd 2: ch 5, (tr, ch 1) 2x, tr, ch 3, * (tr, ch 1) 3x, tr, ch 3, rep from * around, join w/ sl st to 4th beg ch
Rnd 3: sl st in ch-sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 1, * (sc, ch 1) in next sp, rep from *, (sc, ch 1) 4x in next sp, + (sc, ch 1) in ea ch-1 sp, rep from + around, join w/ sl st to 1st sc
Rnd 4: sl st in ch-sp, ch 4, * (dc, ch 1) in ea ch-sp to corner, (2 dc, ch, 2 dc) in corner, rep from *, (dc, ch 1) in remaining ch-sps, join w/ sl st to 3rd beg ch

Finish off.
Weave in ends.
